Joel Roff is a Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto. Over the past ten years he has acted as Picture Editor for a series of award winning documentary and narrative films.

 

Joel studied Film editing at the prestigious Advanced Television and Film (ATVF) post-graduate program at Sheridan College.

 

Joel started in the industry as an Assistant Editor on live performance films by such bands as Godsmack and 3 Doors Down. He has edited many feature documentaries including IPPERWASH, MAPLE FLAVOUR FILMS, AUDITION and THE MISSING INGREDIENT and UNITED WE FAN.

 

Joel also has extensive experience editing narrative feature films including; SIDEKICK starring Daniel Baldwin, SLIGHTLY USED, KILLER GOD, THE BABY FORMULA. He was the editor of SERVITUDE starring David Foley, Enrico Colantoni and Margot Kidder, the first feature produce by Telefilm from the CFC-Just for Laughs Comedy Lab. His latest narrative film is eHERO, a feature about professional video gamers set to hit theatres in 2018.
